Navajo ingot silver spoon with arrow designs, 1920s
Navajo-made hand-stamped ingot silver spoon, 1920s. Made from melted silver dollars. Has hand-stamped designs, including arrow designs. These were often made for the tourist trade during the Fred Harvey era. These were made to sell for the Victorian people coming out west on train to experience the Native American people and the beauty of the west.
This spoon measures just over 5 1/2" long, about 1 1/8" wide at the widest part.
