Navajo-made hand-stamped ingot silver spoon and fork set for serving salad, ca. 1920's. Made from melted silver dollars. They have elaborate hand-stamped designs. These were often made for the tourist trade during the Fred Harvey era. These were made to sell for the Victorian people coming out west on train to experience the Native American people and the beauty of the west.
Each utensil is 8" long, 1" wide at the wide end of the handle. The fork is 2" wide at the widest part, the spoon is 2 1/4" wide at the widest part.
