Navajo cuff watch by the Navajo Guild, 1940s
Navajo-made sterling silver cuff watch, by the Navajo Guild, ca. 1940's. It is 1 1/8" wide at the widest part in the middle, and it comes with a Timex watch, which can be replaced or the battery can be replaced. The tabs that hold the watch are 3/8" wide so they will fit other watches of that size. It has hand-stamped designs all the way around the watch. The back is hallmarked with "Navajo," meaning that it was made by a member of the Navajo Guild.
Measures 5 1/2" long, with a 1" opening, so it fits wrist sizes up to 6 1/2" in diameter.
