Native American Zuni fetish carving of a buffalo, made of of a marble stone with turquoise horns and eyes. It has a inlay design of a sun face with turquoise dots on back side. On the front side, cut shell and inlay mixed stones to make up a design. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artists Lynn and Jayne Quam, and it is signed on the bottom "Lynn Quam and Jayne".
Buffalo are considered to be the providers of all, and represent endurance to overcome, and emotional courage.
Measurements: 4 7/8" wide, 3 1/4" tall, and 1 3/8" deep.
