Navajo ingot silver squash blossom, 1910s-20s
Navajo-made squash blossom necklace with ingot silver and natural turquoise, made in 1910's or earlier. The naja's center turquoise stone has a saw tooth bezel with filed scalloped edging, hand-stamped with fluted buttons on the tips. There are 18 squashes in total, 9 on each side, graduated in size. The silver beads are handmade, and this necklace is made in the old style with no clasp and strung on cord.

Measurements: The necklace is 24" long. The naja is 2 1/8" tall, 2 1/8" wide.
