1920's Navajo silver squash blossom with Nevada turquoise
Navajo-made silver 3 strand squash blossom with natural turquoise, made in 1920's. The necklace is very long, 31", with handmade silver beads and squashes, and a triple row of beads behind the squashes. There are 36 squashes in all, 18 on each side. The naja is 2 3/4" long, 3" wide, and it has four pieces of Nevada turquoise on it, including one dangling down from the center of the naja. The two stones at the end of the naja represent hands with the silver design representing bracelets. A very elaborate and beautiful piece with fabulous turquoise.
