Heavy ingot silver Navajo concho belt with sand cast buckle, 1920's
Navajo concho belt, ingot silver, ca. 1920's. The leather part of the belt is about 45" long, adjustable, and 1 1/4" wide. It has a sand cast buckle, which measures 3 1/2" wide by just over 3" tall, with ten small turquoise cabochons. There are five oval conchos that are about 4" by 3 1/2", with six butterfly conchos in between, 1 1/2" by 3". All are heavy silver, with repousse and fine hand stamping, and turquoise on each one. Original leather, in very good condition. A fabulous old piece to add to your collection.
