Heavy silver Navajo bracelet with twisted shank, 1940s
Navajo-made natural turquoise bracelet, made around the 1940's. Bracelet is just under 2" wide at the widest part in the middle, with a cluster of turquoise cabochons in the middle and some on the sides as well, 15 stones in all. The bracelet is made of heavy twisted wire silver on both sides with a square wire down the center. Very vividly colored turquoise stones, with silver fluted buttons around the stones in the center. A bold bracelet with a killer turquoise design.
This bracelet measures 5 5/8" around, with a 1 3/8" opening, so it can fit wrists up to 7" in diameter. Good size for men or women.
