Native American Zuni fetish carving of a horse, made of picasso marble with inlay turquoise eyes with jet. It is 2 1/2" wide, 2" tall, and 1" dee[ at the widest part. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Travis Lasiloo. He is famous for his very detailed carvings of animals. Colors of the stone may vary slightly from photo.
Horses represent strength, enlightenment, speed, and are thought to possess healing powers. The rain cloud is a sacred symbol to the Zuni, and the heart line gives the fetish medicinal powers and connects us to the spirit of the animal.
