Ingot silver Navajo shoehorn, 1940's
Navajo-made hand-stamped ingot silver shoehorn, made in 1940's. Made from melted silver dollars. It measures 4 1/2" long, just under 2" wide at the widest part. It is substantial, not flimsy, so it could have been actually used as a shoehorn. Has beautiful hand-stamping, and the back is stamped with the sterling mark (it seems to have been accidentally double stamped so it is hard to make out).
