Eagle Zuni fetish, made of carved shell, with inlay turquoise eyes and accents turquoise pieces and an arrow head. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Bryston Bowannie. Wonderful carving, great use of the shell for the eagle form and markings.
Eagles are the messengers to the Creator, and they symbolize power, balance, dignity, grace, they are hunters and protectors from the sky.
