Apache-made doll cradle board, by artist Gusta Thompson. The artist signed the back, along with information about where the piece was purchased (see photo), which says that it was bought at a Heard Museum art fair in 1973. Very well made, with a fabric, wood and beads. Wood frame and backing. All handmade and sewn.
Measures 12 1/2" long, 5 1/2" wide, and 5 1/4" deep.
