Zuni fetish frog on a rock, made of green serpentine, with inlay turquoise eyes. It measures 1 5/8" tall, 2 1/4" long, and 1 1/2" wide. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Michael Coble, and it is signed on the bottom. It is made from a great piece of stone that has markings that resemble a frog's, and the frog is puffing out its throat pouch.
Toads and frogs are associated with rain, abundance, water, and fertility, and they bring the rain, which is essential to all life on earth.
