Zuni fetish lizard, made of brown and gray marble, with inlay turquoise eyes. It measures 1 1/2" tall, 2 3/4" wide, and 5 3/8" long, so it is a bit larger than most of our other Zuni fetishes. This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Michael Coble, and it is signed on the bottom. The lizard has great color and texture to it.
To the Zuni, lizards are quick, agile, survivors, and symbols of the desert.
