Owl fetish by Enrike Leekya, serpentine with jet
Zuni fetish carving of a white owl, made of white serpentine, with jet accents on its face with turquoise eyes. Native American Made. It is 3" tall, 1" deep, and 1 1/2" long. The owl's pose is a stately one. The carving represents a barn owl.
This fetish was handmade by Zuni artist Enrike Leekya, and is signed on the bottom. Enrike Leekya is a fourth generation Zuni carver in the Leekya Deyuse family.
Owls represent wisdom and patience, they are the guardians of the night, and they have the ability to see what others can't.
