Hopi wedding vase, by Dextra Quotskuvya Nampeyo (life span 1928-, active 1940-). She is a very famous potter, and a descendant of Nampeyo, the Tewa potter who revived Sityatki style pottery on First Mesa at Hopi. This piece is in excellent condition. It is signed on the bottom with her name and corn hallmark.
This pot measures 9" wide, 10 1/2" tall.
