Jemez wedding vase by Marcella Yepa (life span 1964 - present, active 1984 - present). She is from a family of famous Jemez potters, and she is known for her beautiful melon swirl pots like this one. Condition is excellent. It is made from clay that naturally has some mica mineral in it, to give it shine and texture. Signed at the bottom.
All of our Native American pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed with fully insured shipping.
Measurements: This piece measures 6" wide at the widest part, and 10" tall.
