Hopi bowl 1940's, by Laura Chapella Tomasie (1907-1977). Her favorite designs include thunderbirds, honey bees and clouds, and she is known for redware bowls like this one. This bowl is in excellent condition. It has her signature on the bottom.
All of our Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed with fully insured shipping.
Measurements: 3 1/2" tall, 7 1/4" wide at opening.
