Hopi vase by Verla Dewakuku (1932- ). She is known for her polychrome bowls, jars and plates. Her favorite designs are rainbirds, rain clouds, Parrot tail feathers and the traditional designs and color of Hopi pots. ca. 1970's.
Signature on the bottom.
All of our Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed with fully insured shipping.
Measurements: 5 7/8" tall, approximately 5" wide at the widest part, 2 3/4" wide at opening.
