Hopi pot, by Rachel Sahmie Nampeyo (1956-). She is the daughter of Priscilla Namingha Nampeyo. Favorite designs are migration, 4 stars, eagle wings and tail feathers, rain, feathers, butterflies, Kachina, hummingbirds. This pot includes old styleparrot designs. It is in excellent condition.
Pot measures 9 1/2" wide at the widest part, 7 1/4" wide opening, and 7 3/4" tall.
All of our Pueblo pottery is made with the coil and pinch method, made with clay the artists gathered, hand-polished, and traditionally fired. It will be double boxed with fully insured shipping.
