Silver bracelet with thunderbird, arrows, teepee designs with fluted buttons
Navajo-made hand-stamped silver bracelet from The Fred Harvey Company, made around the 1930's. This one is a bit wider than our more delicate Fred Harvey bracelets, 1" wide at the widest part, and it has more elaborate designs. The thunderbird is beautifully hand-stamped and appliqued in the center, and the fluted button designs are made with the bump out/repousse technique. It has hand-stamping all the way around the bracelet, including teepee and arrow designs. A beautiful and classic Fred Harvey bracelet from our vault.
This bracelet measures just over 5 1/4" long, with a 1 1/4" opening, so it can fit wrists up to 6 1/2" around. It is also somewhat adjustable.
