Vintage Navajo collar point earrings
Earrings made from vintage Navajo-made silver Collar tips, hand-stamped and hand-cut. These silver tips were used as collar points by the Navajo. They wore them by sewing them to their clothing at the collars. Made around the 1930's. They have been converted into earrings more recently for use as earrings. The original backings were not touched or changed so they won't loose their integrity. These have a great hand-cut shape and they are fun to wear with history in tack.
They measure 3 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. Overall the earrings hang 4 1/8" long.
