Hopi dish with a squirrel/chipmunk face design, by Rachel Sahmie Nampeyo (1956-). Measures 6" wide, 1 1/2" deep. Has a loop of twine in the back for easy hanging. Rachel Sahmie Nampeyo is the daughter of Priscilla Namingha Nampeyo. Favorite designs are migration, 4 stars, eagle wings and tail feathers, rain, feathers, butterflies, Kachina, hummingbirds. The back says "Nampeyo Koo-Loo," meaning squirrel/chipmunk. This pot is in excellent condition.
