Roadrunner brooch with turquoise by Frank Peshlakai
Vintage roadrunner pin/brooch, made in the 1930s/40s by Navajo artist Frank Peshlakai. The pin is just over 2 1/2" long, about 1" tall at the tallest part, and has a 3/4" natural turquoise stone in the middle. The back is stamped with the artists' hallmark, which is very unusual for Frank Peshlakai, who was one of the earliest Indian silversmiths to use a hallmark of his initials.
